Street photography is a creative challenge and it’s very fun at the same time as it truly helps you sharpen your photographer’s eye, no matter what is the main subject matter you usually shoot. In this series, I am sharing some photos from my self-directed project Toronto Streets Photography. All the photos on this series are shot with an iPhone (we don’t always carry our professional gear around, do we?). Being creative doesn’t require a lot of gear.
Street photography is also a great way to see the ordinary things in a new light, from a new angle. Just walk down the streets and pay attention to the details around. In this series, I focused on capturing the daily street scenes in one Toronto neighbourhood. You can also check out the beginning of the story here and here.
A few scenes shot around the same intersection.
